We are looking for a Mid Data Scientist, who will contribute to the development of advanced analytics, machine learning and AI-driven solutions that help organizations make smarter, data-driven decisions.
In this role, you will work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, Architects and business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights, predictive models and AI-powered solutions with measurable business value.
This role is ideal for a hands-on Data Scientist who can translate business challenges into analytical solutions and contribute to AI, ML and advanced analytics projects across internal and client engagements.
The Role
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns and actionable business insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Data Preparation & Feature Engineering: Support data collection, cleansing, transformation and feature engineering activities to ensure high-quality datasets for analytics and AI initiatives.
- Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling: Develop, train, evaluate and optimize machine learning and statistical models for predictive analytics, forecasting, classification and recommendation use cases.
- AI & Advanced Analytics Solutions: Contribute to the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions, automation initiatives and advanced analytics projects aligned with business objectives, including exposure to Generative AI and AI-driven automation concepts.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate business needs into analytical approaches and communicate findings, recommendations and model outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including client-facing audiences where needed.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve analytical processes, model performance and data-driven capabilities and communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning or a related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong understanding of statistics, machine learning algorithms and lifecycle process including training, validation, evaluation and deployment concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Python and commonly used data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLM concepts such as prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or fine-tuning.
- Very Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical approaches and communicate insights in a clear, practical and business-oriented way.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
