We are looking for a Business Analyst, who will lead business analysis initiatives by translating complex business needs into clear, concise business and technical requirements.
Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will facilitate effective communication and ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
You will collaborate closely with the Services team, clients, and relevant stakeholders to ensure project requirements are accurately implemented and meet the highest quality standards.
The Role
As a Business Analyst at WITSIDE, you will:
- Analysis Planning and Execution: Lead analysis planning activities, identify and register key stakeholders, define the most effective analysis approach for different solutions, and actively participate in requirements elicitation workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Requirements Analysis: Lead requirements’ analysis efforts and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to capture, analyze, and validate business and technical requirements. You are expected to produce and maintain high-quality functional and technical analysis documentation, as well as identify, document, analyze, communicate, and support the evaluation of change requests throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper impact assessment, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
- Quality Assurance & Testing : Participate in system integration, UAT, and regression testing activities to validate reporting functionality, business workflows, and data accuracy as well as support incident investigation, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting activities related to reporting systems, integrations, and data discrepancies.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid knowledge of SQL, Data Analytics principles, methodologies, and reporting concepts as well as familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
- Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of internal analysis’ reporting processes, operational workflows, and data-driven solutions.
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Analyze complex problems and support solution design discussions by providing functional and technical input aligned with business objectives and system capabilities, as well as collaborating closely with cross-functional teams ensuring alignment on scope, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline will be considered an asset.
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis within IT projects, preferably in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or enterprise systems environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical and functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data models, and hands-on experience with SQL query execution and data analysis.
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and project delivery frameworks.
- Experience working with reporting and data visualization tools (such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, or Tableau) will be considered an asset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and technically oriented teams.
- Motivated toward continuous learning, professional growth, and adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
