We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst, who will be responsible for eliciting, documenting and analyzing stakeholder’s needs as well as successfully managing expectations through concise requirements and effective communication.
You’ll work closely with our Services team, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are implemented as intended and to the highest quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Role
As a Junior Business Analyst at WITSIDE, you will:
- Analysis Planning and Execution: Assist in analysis planning activities, identify crucial analysis’ stakeholders and actively participate in requirements elicitation workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Requirements’ Analysis: Document business requirements in a clear, concise, and structured manner using appropriate formats such as user stories, process/workflow diagrams, specifications, and mock-ups, while ensuring stakeholder alignment throughout the analysis process, as well as identify, document, analyze, communicate, and support the evaluation of change requests throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper impact assessment and stakeholder communication.
- Quality Assurance & Testing : Monitor deliverables to ensure compliance with agreed business and functional requirements, perform data validation and UI-related quality assurance checks and participate in testing activities (UAT/System Testing).
- Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of SQL and Data Analytics principles, methodologies, and reporting concepts.
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and make informed decisions as well as collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful design, implementation, and optimization of reporting solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
- 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis within IT projects, preferably in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence environments.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to understand business needs and contribute to solving complex problems.
- Eagerness for continuous learning, professional development, and adaptation to new technologies and methodologies.
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
