WITSIDE is a leading provider of Data Management, Applied AI and Business Intelligence solutions in Greece.
We offer a flexible and exciting work environment, along with plenty of opportunities for you to grow both professionally and personally.
We are looking for an Analytics Engineer who combines a strong foundation in machine learning and predictive analytics with the practical mindset of a data engineer.
The role revolves primarily around building and operationalizing predictive workflows using the Alteryx platform, while also handling data preparation and pipeline design as needed.
This is a junior-to-mid role. We value hands-on familiarity with Alteryx or equivalent platforms, and a genuine curiosity for applied AI & ML.
Over time, the role offers a clear growth path into broader data platform technologies such as Qlik Talend Cloud, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
The Role
As an Analytics Engineer at WITSIDE, you will:
- Design, develop and operationalize predictive & ML workflows using Alteryx (regression, classification, clustering, time series, and more)
- Build and maintain Alteryx data preparation and integration workflows to support analytics and reporting needs
- Take full ownership of Alteryx-related workstreams from design through to delivery and client handover
- Communicate directly with clients during project execution to understand requirements and ensure quality outcomes
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams on end-to-end data solutions
- Document workflows, models and outcomes to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer
- Utilize Git for version control and collaboration
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer, particularly Predictive Tools – experience with equivalent data or ML platforms will also be considered
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals (supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature engineering) and applied statistics
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience using Git for versioning & collaboration
- Alteryx Designer Core or Advanced certification is a plus
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and modelling is a plus
- Experience with complementary platforms such as Qlik Talend Cloud, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks is a plus
- Experience with dbt for SQL-based transformations is a plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows is a plus
- Understanding of Semantic Model design is a plus
- Data engineering mindset: ability to design structured data flows and pipelines, not just apply models
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage client-facing interactions during project delivery
- Proactive attitude, ownership mindset, and comfort working in a consulting environment
- Ability to build analytical dashboards in Power BI or Qlik Analytics is a plus
