Business Development Representative


Position Summary
WITSIDE (former QlikView Hellas) is one of the leading solution providers in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics & Performance Management operating in Greece, Cyprus & Malta.

Since our foundation in 2010, we have been moving at an annual growth rate of 30% and we are constantly expanding our presence Greece and abroad.

As part of our development, we are looking for a passionate Business Development Representative to join our Sales Team and act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails and messages on professional networks such as LinkedIn
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Initiate the first phase of the sales cycle, create awareness, interest identify the goal that can lead to a successful sales
  • Prospecting, lead generation, business development and setting appointments for Accounts Executives
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to win new opportunities and grow the business
  • Track and manage prospects through internal CRM
  • Provide reports on all business development activities
  • Participate in team meetings, networking, tradeshow events and other activities to grow the business
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Competencies & Skills
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Excellent phone based networking skills
  • High productivity ethic and goal orientation
  • Solution oriented approach to selling with strong hunting mindset
  • Excellent communication, writing, verbal, listening and presentation skills
  • Good business acumen across various industries
  • Ability to gain rapport on the phone and quickly gain trust with the prospects as well as the Account Executives
  • Ability to speak with high level executives about business solutions
  • Ability to overcome objections and effectively articulate a business message
  • Strong personal leadership
  • Experience with business software such as CRM and familiarity with MS Office(Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Eager to learn and continue learning
  • Ability to share best practices
  • Excellent personal organizational skills and time management

Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field is mandatory
  • Master degree or equivalent is preferable
  • Business level proficiency in Greek and English is mandatory
  • Other language skills are of advantage

Experience
  • Proven track record of experience and success in a software sales company
  • Proven track record in a lead generation environment or telesales environment
  • Proven track record of a Business Intelligence vendor sales process is preferable
